Delete in the app
- Open NEEDS and sign in.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the consequences and submit the request.
Request deletion without signing in
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account using the subject “NEEDS account deletion request”. Include your name and registered phone number, but do not include passwords, card details or identity-document images unless NEEDS requests them through a secure verification process.
Verification and timing
NEEDS may verify account ownership before deletion to prevent unauthorized requests. We will acknowledge the request and explain any additional verification or legally required retention. Active tasks, unresolved payments, safety cases, disputes or chargebacks may need to be resolved first.
What is deleted
Subject to required retention, NEEDS deletes or de-identifies account profile information and personal data that is no longer needed for marketplace operation or legal obligations.
What may be retained
Records may be retained where required or permitted for payment settlement, tax and accounting, fraud prevention, safety, disputes, chargebacks, legal claims, regulatory obligations and law-enforcement response. Retained information remains protected and is not used for unrelated marketing.
Effect of deletion
Deletion removes access to task history, messages, ratings, referral rewards and balances except where records must remain. Deletion may be irreversible.
